La Tejita Beach
La Tejita Beach (Playa de La Tejita) is one of the largest mixed black and golden sand beach in Tenerife.
La Tejita Beach is located in the South of Tenerife, near the South Airport and the Montana Roja or El Médano.
Very easy to reach and with plenty of parking places. There are no services in the gay area but you can rent sun beds or umbrellas in the right hand side where the crowd is more mixed. There is just one kiosk, Chiringuito Pirata in the far right side but is not always open so we recommend you bring your own drinks. Avoid this beach when the winds are strong.
La Tejita Beach is very popular among gay people. You can find the gays mostly in the clothing optional area in the left part of the beach near the Montana Roja. There, behind the rocks you can find a little cruising spot. It is not close to gay venues like gay bars or gay saunas.
