Los Patos Beach
Los Patos Beach (Playa de Los Patos) is the legendary gay beach, with spectacular virgin views and black sand, near Puerto de la Cruz.
Los Patos Beach is ideal for clothing optional lovers and for surfing. Is a very popular gay friendly beach because it is very liberal and quiet.
Unfortunately the staircase to access the beach is broken so the access is very difficult. Avoid it if you are afraid of heights. There are no services, to bring your own water and stuff.
Gay people are always spotted on the beach. You can reach Los Patos Beach very easy by car or walking from Puerto De la Cruz. If you choose to walk it takes around 50 minutes but the views are spectacular and the road takes you near the cruising spot of Montaña de Amor, in La Paz area of Puerto de la Cruz.
